Parents are always welcome in the school.  An appointment is not always needed to see the Headteacher but a school is a busy place and you may have to wait for the Head to be free.  An appointment is advisable for anything that will take more than a few minutes.

Our teachers are available at the end of each school day to talk over minor issues.  If you wish to discuss anything for more than a few minutes please make an appointment through the school office or speak directly to the teacher to arrange a mutually convenient time.

In addition, parents can be involved in the school in numerous other ways, for example helping on school trips, listening to reading, working with groups, outdoor games activities, making resources or playing board games with the children. If you are able to spare some time we would love to hear from you.  Every helper has a police check to maintain our high standards of safety for the children.

Every term we hold a number of class assemblies. Parents and families members are very much welcomed into the school to come and watch the child participate in these class productions. Parents are also invited to celebration assemblies when their child receives a certificate for excellent work or behaviour.

We value parents’ opinions and input into the running of the school, and we would ask that if you have any ideas or suggestions as to how we could improve, to pass these onto your class teacher, or phone or email us
